The Magical Faculty offers you no solutions to your problems. If you want a solution to a problem then try science or what ever world view, that uses causality as the basic asumption. Magic is for me the art of creating ones own living experience in a funny and creative way, where ideas as time and causality are only tools to tell a ordered story.
We always create our own living experiences, from our created and chosen beliefs, our emotional states and our actions, whether asleep or awake, in our minds that is our personal bubbles of reality. If we are not happy about the content of the moment, then it is up to us to create different material for the moment, whether it is, what in our mind was, is and will be.
On the internet there is a lot of self help gurus that also talk about creating ones own life, and I have in the past couple of years worked a lot with magic as a tool for personal growth and development.
Recently on a trip to Sweden with my family I suddenly found my self in a conversation with my older brother stating that magic is nothing mysterious. That statement is true if we only see magic as a tool for creating ones own life, but I felt someone was missing in the statement, that to say something like that I have sold out of whom I was and then I remebered why I started out the magical venture I am in.
It was not because of wanting to be a better person or solving my problems, my reasons from when I was a child was curiosity, a need to explore these deep and untouched areas of human existence; to go where no man has ever gone before; and to break the bounderies of human potential, and expand human consciousness, meet other creatures, that I can learn from to dive deep into the mysterious realms that lies beyond ordinary human perception and so forth,
Mysticism and a deep intimate connection with all there is is the other part of magic, what you percieve is what you create, and the deeper your perception the richer your experience of life. When I talk about perception I also talk about the other senses, the inner senses that can be used to navigate in the world of the mind and in the world of energy, and thereby getting an inner knowledge of what energetic strings to pull to get the most out of a given situation; or which beliefs to work with to be able to clear away blocks. I am talking ESP, PSI, spells, potions, conjuring up power from nature and other sources, experiencing the life of an animal and so forth.
